To be honest we have never been overly fond of the term ‘hybrid’. It smacks of dilution and/or compromise and fails to properly describe what was intended. If, however, you can get your head around the idea of an agent who has decided to think more about the service that it provides than the shop premises it relies upon more than anything else to draw in vendor custom (harsh but fair) then you will be on the right track.
In a world where any and every credible agent is totally reliant on being online it is now simply a question of choosing one that you like the look of and feel confident will be putting your interests first and foremost at all times. The comprehensiveness of online marketing power has opened the door to small company service standards and those small companies, if we are any example, generally look after their customers and clients that much better. It’s unfortunate that many people, most in fact, don’t realise that until it’s too late.
We absolutely do provide all of those services that your traditional, long-established, recognisably branded high street agent provides. That said we certainly do not consider ourselves to be an ordinary agent for a number of reasons:
- We communicate (routinely and promptly)
- We are ethical in all our dealings
- We are regulated by a professional body (RICS global standards)
- We do not fabricate or manipulate the facts
- We are proactive in seeking added value wherever it may apply
- We turn up on time
- We only ever charge sensible and proportionate fees
In the overall scheme of things therefore we think of ourselves as extraordinary estate agents.
